My personal decision to relocate to the Elk River valley came after a search of all the mountain towns in British Columbia, Alberta, Montana and Wyoming ( all my personal favorites ). I had just finished a 4 year contract to market and sell the “Manteo” project in Kelowna and wanted to move back to the Mountains. Fortunately I had been employed by Intrawest in Whistler for a number of years as a sales and marketing executive and had retained some data produced by them on how they rank resort opportunities. After a few weeks of research it quickly became apparent to me that the location with the most potential was a little town in BC called “Fernie”. Of course after visiting with my family we all fell in love with the place.

The adventure began 12 years ago with our relocation and introduction to a place of world class Skiing, Mountain Biking and Fly Fishing, my kids ( 2 daughters now all grown up) quickly made friends and we found the community warm and welcoming right from the beginning. Fortunately the climate for real estate was and continues to be outstanding, with many varied options to fit most any need and it goes without saying that the last decade has been the most rewarding and fulfilling of my over 20 year real estate career. It really jazzes me up helping real people find and achieve their personal dreams of relocating to the mountains, finding that special second home or plot of land to build on.
